Free Thanksgiving dinners from Boston Market and Lowe's: Locations, hours



Free turkey dinners from Boston Market restaurant and Lowe's? That's right! Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, Patch reported Boston Market, Lowe's, and Table Talk Pies are providing free Thanksgiving meals with all the fixins', including roast turkey or ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet corn and rolls. The free Thanksgiving dinners for six are worth more than $1 million and will be distributed on November 21, 2012 to the victims of Hurricane Sandy (see note below).
According to the Long Island Press, Boston Market and Lowe's home improvement stores have teamed up to provide more than 22,000 free grab-and-go, heat-and-eat Thanksgiving meals (feeding 136,000 people) for those hard hit communities affected by Hurricane Sandy in the new York and New Jersey areas. Lowe's will provide the Boston Market family-style Thanksgiving meals that serve six people, at 35 stores on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 11 a.m. on November 21, or until the meals run out.
The FREE Boston Market Thanksgiving meals also includes dessert! Table Talk Pies of Worcester, Massachusetts, has donated more than 43,000 pies to be included in the Boston Market meals. Each store will have about 500 meals to give away free of charge.

Patch also reported that in addition to the 500 free Thanksgiving meals distributed by each store, Lowe's employees at the affected stores are also getting a free Thanksgiving meal as a way to say, "Thank You!"
