This is my first post-Sandy blog. New York City was really hit hard by
Hurricane Sandy. Not to the point where it was totally devastated but enough
where you really think about how powerless people really are. About 30 people lost their lives. Lower Manhattan was without power for nearly
a week. Subways were knocked out.
Stations were filled with water. Through
the grace of God my section of the Bronx was spared any serious damage. My power never went out. This is however the sixth day I have not been
to work and I was already notified I would be out of work tomorrow (Tuesday)
making it seven days. Trust me, I am
not complaining about missing work.
