Thanksgiving Dinners
Here's a list of free Thanksgiving dinners offered this week:
East Volusia
American Legion Post 267, 156 New Britain Ave., Ormond Beach, Thanksgiving Day dinner is from 2 to 4 p.m. Veterans are welcome with a current military identification or a valid VA card. RSVP by calling 386-672-7678.
Hope Lutheran Church, 594 N. Williamson Blvd., Daytona Beach, Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The meal is free and begins Thursday at 2 p.m. 386-274-7074 or 386-673-2940.
Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Mary Wallis Thanksgiving Day Dinner for those 65 years of age or older. Dinner begins at 3 p.m. in fellowship hall, 600 S. Nova Road, Ormond Beach. Reservations were to be made by Nov. 19.
Salvation Army, "Helping from the Heart" Thanksgiving feast for people in need is Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 560 Ballough Road, Daytona Beach. 386-236-2020 or 386-255-2594.
St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, annual Thanksgiving Day dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 129 N. Halifax Ave., Daytona Beach. 386-252-6012.
Flagler County
Team Feed Flagler Community Thanksgiving celebration, is scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the following locations.

- Bunnell First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Pine St., Bunnell

First United Methodist Church, along with several other churches in Southeast Volusia, present the 12th annual Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Hollister Hall, 215 Palmetto St., New Smyrna Beach. Donations accepted. 386-366-0390 or 386-428-4371.
West Volusia
Community Moments Organization, Thanksgiving dinner for area families from 1-3 p.m. at The Pentecostals of DeLand, 1640 E. Voorhis Ave., DeLand. Sign up on the website communitymoments.com or 386-682-7139.
Glenwood Presbyterian Church, meal for locals who are alone on the holiday or in need. Seating starts promptly Thursday at 1:30 p.m., Fellowship Hall, 3190 Grand Ave., Glenwood. Transportation not provided. Reservations requested. 386-734-8617.
St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Knights of Columbus, will serve a Thanksgiving Day dinner from 11:30 to 1 p.m. at the John Bosco Center, 359 W. New York Ave., DeLand. Elderly residents, anyone who will be alone or residents of local nursing homes are encouraged to come.
