The new homeless

This is on the west coast of Florida but it might as well be anywhere.  Most people do not have any empathy for the issue until it hits them.  I don't expect people to jump up and adopt a homeless person but it would be nice to at least have a little sympathy.  Also, I would LOVE to see the day when we hold our elected officials accountable for the well being of these displaced people.  Elected officials, republicans in particular have a way of making everything about making money when in fact it is about human lives.
