Sadly, New Yorkers are caught in the middle with the "stop and frisk" issue.
On one hand you have people, mostly young males of color under the age of 30 shooting wherever and whenever they want, not caring about who they shoot. Add to this a general neighborhood consensus that you do not snitch by telling the authorities. On the other hand you have a few racist cops who will use their authority to round up and harass every Black and Latino look kid just because they have the power. Most folks are caught in the middle of this mess. The answer should be to police both young folks under 30 and the police but that can't be done.
Ultimately I am for Stop and Frisk because I will probably be hurt more by my own kind than I would from the cops.
