I have almost completely given up Facebook. In fact I
haven’t been on my account since December 20th. I wasn’t getting anything out of it. People who need to connect with me can text
me.
For a good while I considered Facebook a somewhat necessary
evil. Overall I don’t think it’s
real. It’s a social forum that allows
you to act as obnoxious as you want.
People will say on Facebook what they would only dream of speaking face
to face. And I found that people are
more bitchy on Facebook. They publically
post things then get angry when you respond.
Why post it then? And since you
have control over who sees your post why make your post be seen by everybody?
I’ve only been slightly tempted to check my account. I will probably not completely delete it but
I look forward to checking it maybe once a month in case I get a message of
importance.
