As popular as former president Bill Clinton is, he is the man who put welfare reform into effect. I have never been in favor of welfare reform. Even though I have a job and Have had it for over 15 years I hear all the time of people who have had jobs for longer and lost them and are out on the streets. I always had my theories as to why people thought such a policy was necessary. It is also interesting the same people who wanted this are now in need of that public assistance.
