Before the clip was taken down I saw more footage of the incident. Shame on Fox News for showing only a portion of the incident. What I had seen clearly showed the driver getting spit on before he allegedly hit the woman.
On a blog with the video still enabled the author managed to watch the footage and shift the blame to the driver. He is entitled to his own opinion.
I look at a different picture. I see this event as the incident that redefines the relationship between men and women. For years men have been taught to not hit women and to walk away if a woman hits you. Over the past few years women have gotten bolder. They assault men more and some like to fight men. I don't think men should initiate a physical attack on a female but I no longer think that men should just walk away. That falsely empowers the female. From the video this woman spat on the driver and just stepped to the side like nothing even should happen to her. Second bad move.
The bus driver in question got suspended according to his employers. I think he should be commended.
