RANDOM POST- COOP CITY SHOOTING

This past Saturday a young man was shot to death across the street from my apartment.  Woord on the street is he just left the pizza shop on thee corner, was crossing the street about 20 feet away, then was approached by someone who shot him in the face.  According to the news he was 30 years old.
The news is naturally disturbing.  On top of what my life is like now it is stressful.  In the past I would lean towards the right of the "stop and frisk" argument.  I figured it could make a difference in gun violence.  I am not so sure now.  Right now I feel cornered.  You really can't fully trust the police (abuse and misuse of power) and you really can't trust your own people.  Right about now I would love to move out of New York.
