We are in the middle of a pandemic where thousands of people have died. For a month we have been practicing social distancing. Over the past few weeks though I have heard about the 5G Towers theory and how the radiation associated is responsible for the illness.
I have little knowledge of either theory. I have heard more about Covid19 because it is on the news everyday and it is concerning that the country is basically on a lock-down and that so many people have died. At the same time it is hard to trust the government and to take their word for what is going on.
I have seen videos where people substantiate their 5G theory by showing the towers and the current deaths. They are convincing. However, even if I do believe them I don't believe them enough to give up social distancing and be around crowds.
Same blog, different title and address. Hopefully, the last title and address change. This time around I will focus on just writing and not just on one or two ideas. Still looking at homeless and eldercare issues, I will also dabble in pro wrestling (again) and comic books. Of course I will link any information I get.

JOURNAL ENTRY #124
Once this pandemic is over the city is going to have to clean the subways. What they should do is shut them down for a day. In the process they will need to remove all the homeless people who have taken refuge on it. I am not saying to arrest or incarcerate them. They shouldn't be harmed in any way and when they are removed it should be to a place that can assist them. Unfortunately, since Covid19 more displaced people have ended up on the subways and they have taken up entire seats and sections. A train will enter the station and there will be a car full of people because the next car has up to six homeless people stretched out across several seats. It is bad for a number of reasons but it makes social distancing less effective as people pack single cars to escape or to get a seat. These folks aren't wearing masks so that further complicates things. Some of these people have mental illnesses which makes things even worse. Close to a month ago someone started a fire on a northbound #2 train outside of the 110 Street station, killing the train operator and seriously damaging the station. It was reported that a cart on the subway may have been used to help start the fire.
Where to put all these people? I don't know. That is another problem. For now, the immediate issue is clearing the subways. Prior to this corona virus nightmare it was common to see a handful of homeless people spread out across a few cars. Now there are at times a handful per car. Nobody benefits.
To be continued.

Journal Entry #123
I just checked with my primary life insurance company. My insurance is current and I have my beneficiary information up to date. I am feeling fine but with this Corvid19 business things can change rapidly. i want to be confident that if anything happens to me my family can cover my final wishes. I want to be cremated so it shouldn't be that expensive to take care of me if I go for any reason.
My beneficiary information on my primary insurance as I mentioned is current. The same can be said for my job. I am looking now for Advance Directive and Living Will stuff. I guess folks shouldn't worry about that but with what is going on it wouldn't hurt to have basic information logged and to be prepared.
Below are links on general information on advance directives in New York:

This is a link from AARP for the form in your particular state:

Apparently you do not need a lawyer for these forms but you should still consult an attorney just in case.

Journal entry #122 Home remedies
It has been over a month since New York City was ravaged by Covid19. I have been blessed to have not gotten sick even though I still think I had a brush with this virus in December and January. I know a few people who feel the same way. If I stay blessed and avoid any serious issues with the corona virus I have God to thank along with diligence and a couple of home remedies.
I just started using the mask regularly when I go outside. I am still a firm believer that for the most part you can get by this by avoiding people and washing your hands often. The masks are better for closed in environments, when you can't enforce social distancing and if you have the virus. If I am on the public transportation a mask is a must and thankfully Governor Cuomo just made mask use an executive order.
My saline solution may be a life saver. I use that bottle everyday. Originally I used it because of my allergies. Rinsing my sinuses with saline solution got a lot of allergens out of my nose and helped prevent sinus infections. It is not a cure but a good preventative measure. So I figured if it can help against allergies why not against Covid19.
Normally, during allergy season pollen (and whatever else I am allergic to) goes in my nose. I can feel it in the back of my sinuses. After a while that causes a post nasal drip and that irritates the back of my throat and my tonsils making me have a dry cough. In the past if I didn't take care of that issue the now infection goes into my lungs and I can develop bronchitis or at the least a heavy upper respiratory infection. Thank God I haven't had the heavy chest congestion in years, but I learned that the easiest way to avoid them is to use preventive care meaning, deal with the sinus issue early on and take my Zyrtec. If the Zyrtec isn't working see my ear, nose and throat doctor early. And use that saline solution.
In November and December I was getting these sinus infections rapidly. They came out of nowhere and it seems like nothing was working. Granted, I wasn't using the saline solution like I should. I was getting the dry cough and had to be prescribed Prednisone. Maybe that prepared me mentally for Corvid19 because since the beginning of March I have been using that solution everyday and I have not had any problems. I am praying it won't be necessary soon.
